Moving Autonomous Mobility Safely Forward: Holo A/S Enters New Phase with New CEO and Board Structure

Holo A/S, a pioneer and leading implementer, integrator, and operator of autonomous mobility solutions, is excited to announce a significant organizational change as it continues to drive forward its mission of Moving Autonomous Mobility Safely Forward, for good.

Since its inception in 2016, Holo has focused on the Nordic markets and has recently achieved notable milestones, including the launch of a robotaxi service in Oslo in partnership with Ruter and Mobileye. The demand for Holo's services is now expanding into Switzerland and Germany.

To further strengthen the organization, Holo is appointing a full-time CEO. Stefan Krogh-Hansen (45) joined Holo on April 15 as CEO for the Holo companies in Denmark and Norway. Stefan brings over 20 years of experience in sales, branding, and marketing in both national and international settings, particularly in the Nordic region and Germany. His background in technology and data, combined with a proven track record in delivering value through AI, makes him an ideal fit for this role. A native Dane, Stefan is fluent in English, German, and Scandinavian languages.

Lars Himmer (55), who has been a board member at Holo since March 2021, has also served as Holo CEO since December 2023, in addition to his Semler role as EVP Mobility Solution. In Holo, Lars will now focus on his role on the Board and take on new responsibilities as Chairman. The new Board of Holo will consist of Lars Himmer, Philipp Wetzel, Philipp Scheiwiller, and Nicolai Ellekær.

To address the growing demand for Autonomous Mobility, especially in Switzerland, Stefanie Berliner (37) joined Holo on February 1 as Head of DACH – Business Development. Additionally, Stefanie has worked with Holo since summer 2024 as a consultant in SMOVE but will now focus full-time on developing Holo in DACH.

Stefan Krogh-Hansen: "I am excited to join Holo as we take autonomous mobility from experiments to real-world solutions. Holo is leading the way in safe and scalable self-driving technology, and I look forward to ensuring we move autonomous mobility safely forward – for good."

Ulrik Drejsig, CEO of Semler Gruppen, added: "We are thrilled to welcome Stefan Krogh-Hansen as the new CEO of Holo. His extensive experience in technology in both start-up and corporate settings, combined with his proven track record in building business, makes him the perfect fit to lead Holo into its next phase of growth. We are confident that under his leadership, Holo will continue to drive forward. At the same time, I am pleased to hand over the chairmanship of the Holo board to Lars Himmer."

Philipp Wetzel, Managing Director of AMAG Corporate Development, stated: "We are pleased to see how Holo has developed in the right direction under the leadership of Lars Himmer and are convinced that with Stefan Krogh-Hansen as CEO and Lars Himmer as Chairman, we have found the right leadership structure for the next step in our development. We are particularly pleased with Holo's recent successes in a fast-growing Swiss market and will work with Holo to further develop and positively shape it."

Holo is a corporate venture company started by Danish Semler Gruppen in 2016 to address the automotive megatrend of autonomous mobility. The Swiss AMAG Group became an active shareholder in 2023 with a 33% ownership stake.
